My favourite hobbie: snorkeling in rocky areas of The Costa blanca…
Why ? I have seen:
🐟 Bream and salema — often swimming in small or large schools.
* 🐠 Wrasse and damselfish — colourful little fish around rocks and sea grass.
* 🌿 Posidonia seagrass meadows — extremely common and important habitat for fish.
* 🐙 Octopus — fairly common around rocky crevices, but well camouflaged.
* 🦀 Small crabs and other crustaceans hiding among rocks.
* 🪸 Sponges, algae and sea urchins on rocky surfaces.
* 🦑 Cuttlefish — possible, particularly around rocky/seagrass areas.
