2 days ago the Belgian ban on travelling has been lifted and you are now allowed to travel again from Belgium to Spain.

No quarantaine for the region where Casa Gaston is located, but as always we advise you to be just as careful as you are at home.

Unfortunately our dear UK guests will have to wait a bit longer according to the latest news, but we can't wait to welcome you back too soon 💛

We had some Spanish guests the last few days and bookings from other countries are picking up again as well.

If you long for the ☀️, don't wait out to block your dates as many people are booking at this very moment!

During the summer we did some chores in and around Casa Gaston, hoping for a better after season and autumn.

Unfortunately Covid stroke again and lockdowns all around the world were announced. Despite the fact that up until now the Costa Blanca region is still flagged as a ‘safe’ region to travel to, all bookings were cancelled.

We decided not to upload any of the new pictures, of the newly painted walls and all the changes we made in and around the house. But as the end of the year is coming closer, we do want to share these pictures. Because for us they are pictures of hope. We can’t wait to go back out there ourselves and we hope you too will enjoy the freedom of travelling, sun, beaches and blue skies soon again.

We hope you keep safe and we have high hopes for 2021. It can’t get any worse, right?

Now let’s close our eyes and dream of those first rays of sun ☀️ and sandy beaches in 2021 🏖!

Did we drink a lot of rosé 🍷 back then while shooting these photos? Maybe.

On the bright side some locals and last-minute bookers found their way to Casa Gaston and enjoyed their summer holiday at the sunny . Chores day at Casa Gaston! 💪
The plants 🌱 got a bit out of hand during lockdown & the grills in front of the windows needed some new paint 🎨. In the meantime our friendly Spanish neighbour José is helping a hand with painting the exterior walls. We'll be posting the result soon! 🤗

After a period of severe lockdown the Spanish citizens are finally able to go out again. And now they are also embracing tourists again (well not literally 😉). Everything is set in place to guarantee a safe environment and people are really playing by the rules. That's a hopeful thing to see. Let's keep it safe together and enjoy the summer ♡
