☀️ A truly relaxing day ahead.

We’re already halfway through August, and the Costa Blanca is still giving us perfect summer weather. 🌴🌊
A calm, sunny day with temperatures reaching around 33°C, and even at night it will only drop to about 25°C.

No rush. No plans. Just sun, sea, a cold drink and time to slow down.

Today is made for pure relaxation. 😎🍹

Yesterday, the sky gave us a solar eclipse. 🌘
Then came a night filled with Perseids. ☄️

And tonight… the spectacle continues.

🔥 NIT DE L’ALBÀ — ELCHE 🔥

Every August 13, Elche celebrates one of the most extraordinary nights of the year — a historic festival of fire, light and sound dedicated to the city’s patron saint, Our Lady of the Assumption.

Tonight, more than 88,000 pyrotechnic effects and 312 firework palms will illuminate the city.

🕚 11:15 PM — the spectacle begins
🔥 11:20 PM — the Cohetà begins
🌴 12:00 AM — Palmera de la Virgen

At midnight, the city lights go dark.

Then, from the tower of the Basilica of Santa María, the legendary Palmera de la Virgen rises more than 300 metres into the sky.

For a few unforgettable seconds…

the night turns into day.
