We are seeking an experienced Female Chef (due to cabin arrangements) for a beautiful 34m private classic motor yacht cruising the Mediterranean for the summer season.
Start Date: 1st April
Contract End: End of September
Cruising Area: Balearics, Sardinia & South of France
Salary: €5,500 – €7,000 per month (DOE)
Contract: MCA (Malta)
Trial Period: 1 month
The Role
The ideal candidate will be confident, adaptable, and highly organised, with a strong background in authentic Mediterranean cuisine and other international styles.
You will:
-Create market-driven menus using seasonal, local produce
-Prepare homemade items such as breads, pasta, ice cream, granola, and more
-Deliver balanced, flavorful meals without unnecessary complexity (owners prefer clean, well-executed dishes)
-Cater for 2–5 guests on average, with occasional short periods of up to 12 guests
-Provide healthy, satisfying crew meals for 5
-Confidently switch between casual family-style service and elegant fine dining
-Adapt quickly to last-minute changes and dietary requirements
-Maintain a clean, well-organised, and efficiently run modern galley
-Remain calm, professional, and structured at all times
Working Schedule
-5-day working week when no guests are on board
-7-day working week when guests are onboard
Requirements
-Valid STCW
-Valid ENG1
-Strong all-round culinary ability
-Confident in all cooking methods
