Mallorca has over 200 beaches 🤩 This is Per’s list (our host with 20+ years here), with recommendations on what to do:

Platja de Ses Illetes: best beach clubs on the island. Book sunbeds online in advance, especially in high season.

Caló del Moro: rocky cove, pristine water. One of the most photographed spots in Mallorca. Go early or go by boat.

Platja de Mondragó: calmer waters, natural park setting. Great for swimming and snorkeling without the crowds.

Cala Major: sandy, relaxed, and perfect for families
Paddleboard and kayak rentals available, around 15–20€/hour.

One rule that applies to all of them: arrive at 8am or after 4pm.

Everything in between belongs to the crowds.

From slow breakfasts to late dinners, here’s how locals actually do it:

☕ Coffee spots like La Molienda, Mama Carmen, or Can Pa.

🍽️ Dishes with great fresh ingredients in Bar Bellver, X Etapas, Bar El Pincho.

🥘 Must-try: sobrassada, trampó, arròs brut, frit mallorquí.

In between, walk it all!

Palma is best experienced on foot, especially around El Terreno and the Old Town.
