One of the most extraordinary sunsets Palma has ever seen.
On the 12th of August, Palma will become one of the best places in Europe to witness the total solar eclipse. For just over a minute, day will turn into twilight before the sun slowly returns over the Mediterranean. A once-in-a-lifetime experience. If you're staying with us, spend the afternoon exploring the Old Town, walk towards the seafront to watch the eclipse and finish the day with dinner at one of our favourite local restaurants.
A few safety reminders: Only use certified eclipse glasses (ISO 12312-2), never look directly at the sun without proper eye protection, sunglasses are not safe for viewing a solar eclipse.

El 12 de agosto, Palma será uno de los mejores lugares de Europa para contemplar el eclipse solar total. Durante algo más de un minuto, el día se convertirá en crepúsculo antes de que el sol vuelva a aparecer sobre el Mediterráneo. Una experiencia única. Recuerda: Utiliza únicamente gafas homologadas para eclipses (ISO 12312-2), nunca mires directamente al sol sin protección. Las gafas de sol convencionales no protegen durante un eclipse solar.
