A bridge above the mediterranean sea with fantastic views 👀 was recently inaugurated in Torreneuva Playa. They placed a glass tile in the middle of the bridge in order to feel like flying above the sea….majestic. Nothing for people with vertigo though! 😳 This friendly beach town is only 25 minutes away from Pinos del Valle. Nice restaurants 🦐 and a perfect escape for one of your beach days 🌞🍹🏖️while staying with us.

La Herradura Castle – “1562 La Furia del Mar” Interpretation Center

Today the Bahía de la Herradura is a quiet place but in the 18th century the area was the scene of raids and landings by pirates and corsairs, so in 1764 Carlos III decreed the construction of a defensive castle-fort that communicated with the towers. lookout for Cerro Gordo and Punta de la Mona. Today the museum commemorates the shipwreck of the Armada in 1562, a tragic milestone in the history of Spanish navigation that occurred in the inlet of this area of the Andalusian coast. This historical fact serves as the argument and theme for the new museum, called '1562, the Fury of the Sea', and which has been inaugurated on March 19, 2021

The costa tropical is full of treasures like this beauty: Castillo de Salobreña is the most important monument of Salobreña, Granada.
It is known the existence of a fortress in Salobreña since the X century. Although the distribution corresponds to the construction that was built at Nasrid time, the Castillo de Salobreña is the result of the contribution of the Muslim and Christian architecture.

Any plans for autumn? …No?! Well our plans include sun, pool, hiking, bbq, empty beaches and beautiful walks in the city center of Granada surrounded by flamenco music and yummy tapas. Sounds not too bad? Wanna join? Did I say that it was still sunny and warm here in the charming village of Pinos del Valle…? 🌞🌞🌞

Ain’t no mountain high enough! 🎶⛰ Unexpected beautiful corners here in the Tajo de los Vados on your way from the Lecrin valley to the coast on the old national road. A real paradise for all fans of via cordatas & climbing in general. Just contact they will show you how to do it! Another awesome experience here in our region.
