A trip to Parque Taoro and Jardín de las Orquídeas 🌿

Both places are just 5–10 minutes from Canary Campus Hostel and are perfect for a short walk and a break surrounded by nature. A nice way to explore another side of Puerto de la Cruz, without going far from the hostel.

One of our favorite pizza spots in Puerto de la Cruz 🍕

Good pizza, a great atmosphere and an amazing view over the ocean🌴
Especially around sunset, the view is just beautiful.

The best part is that it’s only about 5 minutes from our hostel, so it’s the perfect place to stop by for dinner and enjoy the evening in Puerto de la Cruz ☀️

24 hours in Puerto de la Cruz📍

A full day exploring one of the most beautiful places in Tenerife.

We started the morning at Jardín Botánico, a peaceful botanical garden with a great variety of plants. Entry is only €3, and it is just a 15-minute walk from our hostel🌴

For lunch, we went to San Amaro for pasta and pizza. The food was really good, and the restaurant offers a great value for money🍕

Afterwards, we spent the afternoon at Lago Martiánez. For only €7, you can stay the whole day, with a sun lounger included. It is the perfect place to relax by the water🌊

In the evening, we had tapas at El Camino, known for having some of the best tapas in Puerto de la Cruz🍛

We watched the sunset at Mirador La Paz, which offers the best view over Puerto de la Cruz 🌅

To end the day, we went down to the sea for cocktails, games and snacks🍹

The perfect way to spend 24 hours in Puerto de la Cruz🌺☀️

A little escape in the middle of Puerto de la Cruz 🌿☀️

The Botanical Garden is only a 15-minute walk from our hostel and the entrance is just €3. It honestly feels like stepping into a completely different world – surrounded by tropical plants, palm trees and so much greenery🌴🌺✨

Such a beautiful and peaceful place to explore, and definitely worth a visit when you’re in Puerto de la Cruz🫶🏻
