Our Staverse Cutter 1040, a beautiful classic built in 1978 at the renowned Volharding shipyard in the Netherlands, has officially started its voyage from Holland to Spain.

After receiving major care and upgrades – including an overhauled engine and gearbox, new mast, fresh antifouling and complete maintenance – she is now ready for a new chapter on the Mediterranean Sea.

🌊 Her new mission?
To become the official sailing yacht of Blue Diamond Resorts, offering our clients unforgettable experiences on the water, sunset cruises and private sailing trips along the Spanish coast.

A vessel with history, character and timeless elegance… now proudly sailing under the Blue Diamond flag.

🌊 On June 21, 2025, the first 30 baby turtles were released on the beach in front of The Palms Resort & Spa, La Manga del Mar Menor (Km 15) — right beside one of the most spectacular Posidonia oceanica meadows in the Mediterranean.

🐢 These turtles, born less than a year ago, will one day return here to lay their eggs, continuing this extraordinary cycle of life.

👤 The event was led by the Mayor of San Javier, alongside local children, environmental volunteers, and marine experts, celebrating the commitment to preserving this unique natural habitat.
