Close your eyes for a second and picture this...

It's a warm early morning in August. The kids are still asleep. You're up on the rooftop terrace with a Nespresso, watching the mist lift over the Andalucian countryside and the polo fields in the distance. Absolute silence. Absolute calm.

By midday, everyone's in the rooftop pool. Someone's gone to pick up fresh bread and pastries from the village bakery. There's a bottle of delicious local rosé in the fridge for later.

This evening? You'll probably head to El Trasmallo in Torreguadiaro for some incredible tapas - about 7 minutes down the road, and one of our absolute favourites.

We have some exciting news - Casa de la Risa is now available this summer! 🎉

We'd been keeping July and August pretty close to our chests, but we're thrilled to say that we now have availability right through from 6th July to 13th September - and we'd love to welcome a family or two to enjoy it.

If you ask us, the perfect Sotogrande day starts with sunrise yoga led by the our brilliant Tanya Stagnetto, on Sotogrande beach right next to Gigi's (more about that later), followed by a plunge in the sea.

Spend the afternoon thrilled by the thundering of hooves at Ayala Polo Club, just around the corner from Casa de la Risa. The atmosphere is wonderful - relaxed, glamorous, and utterly unique to this part of Spain.

From there, head back down to Gigi's Beach Sotogrande for a stunning dinner as the sun goes down. It's the very essence of life here - great food, warm evenings, and that beautiful laid-back Andalucian feeling that's genuinely hard to find anywhere else.

And then home for a perfectly chilled glass of wine on either the upper or lower terrace (your choice) as the stars emerge in the ink black sky and you reflect on a day very well spent. 🍷
