Had the pleasure of my beautiful friend, of many years, popping over for a visit with her good mate and now mine. Thank you Becci for just being you. Loved our week together and thank you for introducing me to the amazing Stacey. Had so much fun with you both 💕 Miss you xx

Living room revamp and summer bedding. Blankets available but I doubt they’ll be needed for a while 😊

A new guest in today and after my final check I thought ‘this wardrobe looks really nice today’ so I took a snap.

The last Friday in November and Valle San Lorenzo is looking very festive. My dog too

Had a few cold nights last week so got the bed ‘winter ready’. Then in comes a calima and we’re hitting 28°C. It’s a tough life 😊

Always happy to receive feedback especially when we get a 10/10 review (on all aspects) and the lovely comment below. Thank you very much to our lovely guests.

+ A nice apartment off the beaten path, away from the main tourist traffic. The host was very helpful, and the apartment was tidy and well-equipped.

I saw 2 shooting starts from the persied meteor shower last night ight. The first one was a pretty pink that travelled slowly down towards the coast just as I was taking the dog for a walk. Thinking this would be a great night I then sat for 45 mins only to see one quick white steak. Still happy. Hopefully more tonight 💫

This week is a good time to see the Perseid meteor shower.
This occurs every year at the end of July/beginning of August. Over the next few days the moon is hardly visible so the sky is dark. This allows more opportunity to see the shooting starts from the Perseid meteor shower.
The terrace of Casa Amanda is an ideal place to view this astronomical phenomenon. Turn off the lights, rest on the sun loungers, grab a drink or two and allow your eyes to become dark adjusted then wait for the cosmos to delight you 💫
