Every year, during the first weekend of August, Tàrbena celebrates its annual patron saint festivities.

These celebrations are about much more than music, dancing, food and festivities. They are a reflection of the village’s history, traditions and culture.

One of the most special moments is the procession of Santa Bárbara, the patron saint of Tàrbena. Accompanied by the local band, the statue of Santa Bárbara is carried through the village streets while residents and visitors come together to honour a tradition that has been passed down through generations.

A beautiful example of how history, faith and community are still very much alive in this small mountain village. 💛🌸

Cada año, durante el primer fin de semana de agosto, Tàrbena celebra sus fiestas patronales.

Estas celebraciones son mucho más que música, baile, comida y fiesta. Son un reflejo de la historia, las tradiciones y la cultura del pueblo.

The patron saint festivities in honour of Santa Bárbara have officially begun. The streets have been beautifully decorated, colourful floral offerings have been made, and the village has come alive with traditional music, dancing, and celebration.

It’s a wonderful time to experience the authentic traditions and warm atmosphere of this charming mountain village. 💛🌸
