Best mornings are dragon fruit mornings! A couple of times a year our pitaya plants blossom - they coordinate flowering because the flower only lasts a couple of hours, by noon they’re already gone. The next blossom is coming soon, don’t miss it!

¡Las mejores mañanas son las de la pitaya! Un par de veces al año, nuestras plantas de pitaya florecen; su floración se sincroniza porque la flor solo dura un par de horas, al mediodía ya se ha marchitado. ¡La próxima floración llegará pronto, no te la pierdas!

Served! Homemade, with homegrown or locally sourced (huertocanario in case you were wondering) vegetables and fruits to start the day in delight. Here’s one of our classics: the tomato tarte tatin with garden tomatoes and spicy chutney from our own onions!

Right now, we have a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity: our neighbor is offering to sell us the perfect connecting piece of land, which will allow us to quadruple the size of "Auchón," our animal kingdom.
🐾 Who are you helping? Every animal at Hektor has a story of survival. This expansion will give them the vast, safe space they need to truly heal and thrive:
Silvestre: Our majorero donkey who lived for five years on a 20m2 patch in complete solitude before finding us.
Tempeh & Tofu: A massive new enclosure will give Tofu the space she needs to exercise and forage, while giving both pigs a vast area to explore.
The Grazers: Expanding the land fulfills our promise to Loki and Malala, while giving nervous rescues like Stella quiet, expansive grazing areas where they can feel entirely secure.
The Feathers & Beaks: From Gemma the goose to Felipe the Muscovy duck, this will literally quadruple the kingdom for our feathered friends!
🎯 Wave 1 Goal: Securing the Land To make this happen, we need to hit our Phase 1 Minimum Goal of €9,500. This covers the absolute essentials to purchase the land, including the property cost, notary, registry, taxes, lawyer fees, and platform fees.
