This is our little friend Myra.
Myra is 8 years old & lives in Australia.
Last year Myra walked her first camino with her mum,Tanya & they came back this year to start from SJPdP.
We had the honour of them staying at Casa Susi for the second time. Highlight of their stay was the fantastic picture Myra drew of me & her. She also picked the last of the cherry tomatoes so I could make some chilli jam.
A few days after they left us Tanya messaged me to say Evie,Myra’s favourite ’cuddly’ had got left behind in the dark a few days before in the albergue.It was 7.20pm just before our communal meal but everyone agreed it was the upmost importance to locate Evie & return her to Myra.Evie was located 21km from us but Myra was another 45km away & would be walking another 21km the following morning…
Evie couldn’t fly! But Jacotrans jumped onto the rescue mission straightaway.
First thing in the morning Evie was strapped into a seatbelt & whisked directly to Myra’s accommodations where she was waiting to be reunited with her owner 🫶
Who doesn’t love a feel good story & a happy ending 🤍 Thank you to everyone that offered to help x
