The location is perfect for discovering the historic sites of the city. The flat is also near the train/metro stations going to the beach and it is surrounded by traditional restaurants and bars. The apartments are very big and all the furniture is new from october 2016.

The 36th edition of the Gala de los Goya (spanish Oscars) will be held on February 12 for the first time in Valencia, at the Palau de les Arts. For this reason, the city receives this great party of the best professionals of Spanish cinema with parallel activities, so you can enjoy and get closer to the seventh art, the nominated films and the Goya award!!
And the Goya goes to... you! Because from February 2 to 12, a reproduction of the famous statuette will be exhibited in some places in the city and a photocall will be set up at the Plaza del Ayuntamiento,so you can take photos. Come closer and you will feel like Penelope, Pedro or Antonio on the red carpet!

La 36 edición de la Gala de los Goya se celebra el próximo 12 de febrero por primera vez en València, en el Palau de les Arts. This bar is the project of two friends who shared the passion for music and decided to set up a vinyl store where you could also have a drink and have a good time in a place dedicated to music. Finally, it ended up becoming a bar where you can also buy records, which was even more fun, because the main concept of the place has not stopped shining: its shelves feature black music of all styles and eras, among other genres. We recommend it 100% to have a drink with your partner this Valentine's Day!
Hoy os vamos a hablar de un local a tan solo 3 minutos de Rotaret!!
Este bar es el proyecto de dos amigos que compartían la pasión por la música y decidieron montar una tienda de vinilos donde se pudiera también beber algo y pasar un rato agradable en un espacio dedicado a la música. Al final acabó convirtiéndose en un bar donde también pueden comprarse discos, lo que resultó todavía más divertido, porque el concepto principal del lugar no ha dejado de brillar: entre sus estantes destaca la música negra de todos los estilos y épocas, entre otros géneros. Lo recomendamos 100% para tomar algo con tu pareja este San Valentin!!

València Silk Route

In the Valencian neighbourhood of Velluters (which means velvet makers) there were around 5,000 silk looms at the end of the 18th century. Today, it still retains its old flavour with large mansions, such as the Tamarit Palace, and a tangled maze of streets that allow us to understand the importance of this industry between the 15th and 18th centuries in Valencia. It is in this neighbourhood where the Colegio del Arte Mayor de la Seda (College of High Silk Art), established in 1686 and which today houses the Museo de la Seda (Silk Museum), is located. A Baroque-style building, it houses the largest guild archive in Europe, a fine collection of silk fabrics, and 18th-century looms that can be seen in operation. This is the place to start the Valencia Silk Road, a route with several stops that reveals the valuable historical, architectural, and artistic legacy left by the silk trade in the city.

RUTA DE LA SEDA
Desde 2015, València forma parte de los programas de la UNESCO y de la Organización Mundial del Turismo para poner en valor la Ruta de la Seda, un concepto acuñado por un geógrafo alemán en 1877 para identificar una serie de itinerarios comerciales de mercaderías como la seda, la cerámica o las especias desde China hacia Europa.

En el barrio valenciano de Velluters (que significa terciopeleros) se concentraban a finales del siglo XVIII cerca de 5.000 telares para confeccionar seda. Hoy en día, todavía conserva su sabor de antaño con grandes casonas, como el Palacio de Tamarit, y calles laberínticas que permiten entender la relevancia de esta industria entre los siglos XV y XVIII en València. Es en este barrio donde se encuentra el Colegio del Arte Mayor de la Seda, establecido en 1686 y que hoy alberga el Museo de la Seda. Edificio de estilo barroco, custodia el mayor archivo gremial de Europa, una buena colección de telas en seda y telares del siglo XVIII que pueden verse en funcionamiento. Es el lugar por el que comenzar la Ruta de la Seda de València, un recorrido con varias paradas que desvela el valioso legado histórico, arquitectónico y artístico que dejó el comercio de la seda en la ciudad.

In València, esmorzaret is a culinary tradition that defines both the city and its people: an irrepressible village, proud of its culinary localisms, against the tyranny of globalization, brunch and other customs in the age of orthodoxy.

Here, people show little passion for breakfast yet await the designated time for esmorzaret (between 9:00, for the purists, and 12:00, for the stragglers) with a veneration bordering on the religious. Valencianas and valencianos are brothers and sisters in this sentiment, which like so many others, is the result of the city's agricultural origins.

El esmorzaret es una tradición gastronómica que define cómo es València y cómo son sus gentes: una irreductible aldea, orgullosa de sus localismos culinarios, contra la tiranía de la globalización, el brunch y demás costumbres en la era de la ortodoxia.

Aquí se desayuna sin pasión y se espera la hora del esmorzaret, entre las 9:00, para los más puristas, y las 12:00, para los más rezagados, con veneración rayana en lo litúrgico. Valencianas y valencianos son cofrades de este sentir, deudor, como tantos otros, del origen agrícola de la ciudad.

Large residential building with 14 courtyards and 378 homes built on a block bounded by the extension of Mora.
Its construction began in 1929 and ended in 1933 under the direction of the architect Enrique Viedma Vidal.

Its red brick façade is striking, hence its name, with an expressionist style coming from the Netherlands, as well as the green ceramics that cover its viewpoints and towers.
The structure of the building looked for a model of self-management in which the commercial low open to the inner courtyard, so that they could provide the five hundred projected floors.
Inside there is a huge garden patio where neighbors can enjoy the outdoors next to their homes.
It is considered one of the most emblematic buildings of the city.

Gran edificio residencial de 14 patios y 378 viviendas edificado sobre una manzana delimitada por el ensanche de Mora.
Su construcción se inició el año 1929 y terminó en 1933 bajo la dirección del arquitecto Enrique Viedma Vidal.

Llama la atención su fachada de ladrillo rojo, de ahí su nombre, de un estilo expresionista procedente de Holanda, además de la cerámica verde que cubre sus miradores y torres.
La estructura del edificio buscaba un modelo de autogestión en el que los bajos comerciales se abrieran al patio interior, de manera que pudiesen proveer a los quinientos pisos proyectados.
En su interior hay un enorme patio ajardinado donde los vecinos pueden disfrutar del aire libre al lado de sus viviendas.

Es considerado uno de los edificios más emblemáticos de la ciudad.

The Patriarca, which has been a National Monument since 1962 and a Monument of Cultural Interest in 2007, is one of the best examples of Renaissance architecture. Of special note in the Patriarca Museum are paintings by Caravaggio, El Greco, Van Der teyden, Benlliure, Ribalta and Pinazo, and also the original manuscript of the posthumous work of Sir Thomas More.

The Patriarca, Real Colegio and the Seminario del Corpus Christi are a church, a seminary and a college respectively. Work on the buildings began in 1586 and finished in 1610. It is structured around a large renaissance cloister enclosing the church, the communion chapel, the library, the sleeping quarters and the classrooms. There is another courtyard at the back and a small belfry is located in the corner of the plaza. The museum displays valuable works of art by El Greco and some primitive Flemish paintings.

El Patriarca, Monumento Nacional desde 1962 y Bien de Interés Cultural en 2007, es uno de los mejores ejemplos de arquitectura renacentista. En el Museo del Colegio destacan las pinturas de Caravaggio, El Greco, Van Der Weyden, Benlliure, Ribalta o Pinazo entre otros, así como el manuscrito original de la obra póstuma de Sir Thomas More.

El conjunto del Patriarca, Real Colegio del Seminario del Corpus Christi, está compuesto por colegio, seminario e iglesia. Esta gran obra se inicio en 1586, concluyéndose en 1610. El conjunto se articula alrededor de un gran claustro de estilo renacentista al que dan la iglesia, la capilla de la Comunión, la biblioteca, celdas y aulas, que a su vez dan paso a un patio posterior que recoge las dependencias más íntimas del edificio. Exteriormente está resuelto mediante muros de mampostería. En la esquina de la plaza, presenta un campanario de reducidas dimensiones. Su museo guarda obras de arte de gran valor, entre ellas varias de El Greco y primitivos flamencos.
