After 15 years at Finca Higueron, providing many wonderful people with self-catering holiday accommodation, the time has come for us to move on to other things.
Our lives will move on with happy memories of many days and weeks meeting and passing the time of day with guests, some who visited us only once, but others who have become friends.
The new owners have decided to not continue with our business. Therefore for those of you who wanted to return in 2018, we are sorry and we hope you find suitable alternative accommodation.
We have been humbled by the wonderful messages and best wishes for our future by many of our past guests, friends and also local people from Conil and Vejer.
Val and I would like to thank all of you for making our lives so happy.

So, during the last two months, we have had temperatures in the mid twenties every day, no more than 4mm of rain and clear blue skies. Our last guests, returned from ealier in the summer and on their last day they saw this Wryneck wood pe**er on the large fig tree by the car port. Fantastic photos and our pleasure to be able to provide guest with happy memories.

Last week one of our guests, who likes taking photos of birds and nature took these photos from Finca Higueron's garden. They fell in love with the display from the Griffon Vultures. Thanks for the superb photos Ken and Elise.

It is very enjoyable seeing people having a relaxing holiday at Finca Higueron. It is an opportunity to enjoy the countryside and peace and quiet without having to take more than fifty paces from your cottages.
These great watercolour paintings of the gardens and views to Conil and the Altlantic were composed by one of our guests last week.

Spring has arrived, it is sunny and warm and our guests are happy. Once again, the countryside is amassed with colourful wild flowers. The sea and sky are blue and the ice-cream parlours of Conil de la frontera are once again busy with holidaymakers.
