It was such a great way to celebrate a special birthday last night by having a private chef, Paul from La Bocaina Catering come to our villa to do a barbecue for family and friends. We were too busy enjoying ourselves and eating the fabulous food to take many pictures but we would all highly recommend Paul. We’d such a fun morning today doing an on-road buggy tour around Lanzarote looking at lava fields, vineyards, volcanoes and our last stop was Las Grietas with stunning rock formations. It’s dusty and wild but great fun for everybody! We booked with H2o sport lanzarote through ! The tour came highly recommended by one of our lovely guests who stayed recently . Thanks so much for the tip.

Our first visit to and so so good! For years we have loved the ice cream in their sister cafe on the marina so we were dying to try out the new cafe next to Superdino. Highly recommend a visit for brunch or lunch!

Home again after two amazing weeks in Puerto Calero ☀️🌴

This was our first time staying in our villa as a family since buying it last year — and we honestly love it even more now. It felt only right to review it ourselves!

We had friends with us, so between adults and 4 kids there was plenty of life (and noise 😅), but the space worked perfectly for everyone. The kids were obsessed with the pool table area — their own little hangout spot — which gave us all a bit of space too.

One of our favourite things is the privacy. The villa is detached with the pool area not overlooked and so peaceful, private and spacious. There’s loads of room for sunbathing, plus plenty of shaded spots — especially around our new outdoor furniture — and the hot tub was a big hit with everyone.

Inside, the layout just works. All 4 bedrooms are ensuite with super comfortable beds, and all open directly onto the pool area with sliding doors. The house is built in a way that keeps things nice and quiet at night. The kitchen has everything you’d need for self-catering (if you feel like it!), although we mostly wandered down to the marina for dinners 🍽️

The living area is one of our favourite rooms — high ceilings, lots of light, and perfect for relaxing with a match or a movie. All channels available and easy to log into Netflix or your own streaming accounts. Plus, the sofa is dangerously comfy!

It’s the first time we’ve seen rain in the two weeks we have been here but it certainly makes for some interesting photos. The showers are always short lived and plenty blue skies in between. Got a little wet while running this morning but bone dry again by the time I was finished.
