Zuheros Holiday Home Beautiful village house in spectacular Andalucian mountain villagePerfect base for exploring Cordoba

Zuheros is one of the most beautiful whitewashed villages in Andalucia, nestling in the folds of the Sierra Subbética and surrounded by 1000-year-old olive groves. Its Moorish castle clings improbably to a rocky outcrop and you can sit in its shade and enjoy a coffee or perhaps a glass of the local fino. The village is an excellent base from which to go walking, climbing, cycling and bird-watching

and the fascinating cities of Cordoba, Granada and Malaga are only a short drive away. Casa la Hoya is a comfortable, well-equipped village house, recently refurbished to a very high standard. The Moorish decorative style extends to the beautiful walled garden. From here, you can sit by the fountain and listen to the bells of the goats as they climb the mountain side. As well as shops and a pharmacy, the village has restaurants, bars and two museums. A couple of kilometres away is our very own “Bat Cave”, which contains remarkable prehistoric cave paintings and amazing rock formations.
