Description of duties and responsibilities:
• Conduct situation analysis including micro, macro environment, global tourism and economic trends using currently accepted models.
• Review existing data and previous reports to assess current and previous tourism marketing efforts, trends & performance and benchmark against international best practices.
• Conduct market research among the travel trade in key source markets (including emerging markets) for Ethiopia.
• Develop offline and digital marketing strategies, guidelines and manuals.

12. JOB TITLE: Tourism Development Fund Mobilization Team Leader
Description of main duties and responsibilities:
• Take the lead in identifying funding opportunities, listing them and sharing the information
with team members.
• Assist with funding proposal writing processes. This involves writing project and business plan

• Assist in developing a fund generation and resource mobilization Workplan and constantly
follow-up the implementation of the plan. This involves designing and writing materials for
communications with different prospective donors and agencies.
• Assist in mobilizing non-financial resources from private sectors entities, individuals and
corporate agencies.
• Coordinate processing of agreements in connection with funding opportunities and ensure
effective and timely follow-up in terms of submission of reports to the donors and grant renewal
proposals.

Description of main duties and responsibilities:
• Identifies potential funding sources and opportunities.
• Prepares funding proposals and submits to donors when approved.
• Creates best mechanisms of collecting bed levies, departure taxes, and other funding sources.
• Monitors donor reporting and grant expenditure deadlines.
• participating in the preparation of quality financial and narrative reports to donors.
• Prepares reports of highlighting funds generated, and resources mobilized.
Required qualification and work experience:
