Day 1: Arrival in Lalibela & First Group of Rock-Hewn Churches

Arrive in Lalibela (by flight or road)

Afternoon guided tour of the first group of Lalibela's UNESCO-listed rock-hewn churches

Including Bet Medhane Alem, Bet Maryam, Bet Golgotha, and more

Evening at leisure

Overnight in Lalibela (hotel or guesthouse)

Day 2: Asheten Maryam Village Hike & Jegoley Eco Lodge Experience

Morning hike or mule ride to the mountaintop village of Asheten Maryam

Visit the Asheten Maryam Monastery, carved into the cliffside at over 3,000 meters altitude

Enjoy a warm local lunch, dinner, and overnight stay at Jegoley Family Eco Camp & Lodge

Traditional village life, cultural immersion, breathtaking mountain views

Day 3: Second Group of Lalibela Churches & Yemrehanna Kristos

Morning return from Asheten village to Lalibela town

Explore the second group of churches, including the famous Bet Giyorgis (St. George)

Afternoon excursion to Yemrehanna Kristos Church, located in a cave north of Lalibela

End of tour – drop-off at airport or continuation of travel
