7 Fells Hostel

It's been almost a year since we closed the doors of 7 Fells Hostel! I was supposed to do this post much earlier but... Better late than never!

Thank you to our amazing guests for making the hostel the way it was for 10 years! You made it a home away from home whether you stayed at our first or the second hostel ❤️ Avohoitola 🤪 We spent Christmas and New Years together, and celebrated birthdays and honeymoons. Not sure if there's any 7 Fells babies 😂

Thank you to my colleagues for making my "great" ideas (a few of them) work in real life, keeping the hostel clean and telling bad jokes to guests 🤓 We survived weirdos, power cuts and viruses together ❤️

Thank you to many local businesses in Ylläs & companies in Lapland and Finland for cooperation (and saving some of our guests from frostbites). Thank you also to a couple of local entrepreneurs in Äkäslompolo for talks & support during tough times (no one understands you better than a fellow business owner) ❤️

Thank you to international hostel community for networking and fun times! 🥳 I'm not leaving that Whatsapp group.

Thank you also to everyone who didn't believe in me: you were oh so very wrong 🤪

Since I left Lapland almost a year ago, I have been taking it easy and healing from several burnouts. I was doing "nothing" for 8 months and found myself then living on the other side of the world in New Zealand.

This account might change to some kind of a Lapland travel planning account but will see. Maybe next year 🤪

Welcome to our 10 year anniversary & farewell party on the 13th of April 2024! There will be some snacks & drinks, maybe even speeches how we survived this far 😂

We still have some accommodation available for the weekend and will keep the doors open for a week or two longer.

Hinnat sisältävät liinavaatteet, hammam-pyyhkeet, hostellin puolella 45min yksityisen saunavuoron iltaisin sekä luomukahvia/-teetä ja mysliä/puurotarpeet aamuisin. Mökeissä liinavaatteiden ja pyyhkeiden lisäksi loppusiivoukset ja kahden makuuhuoneen mökissä myös takkapuut.

Petipaikkaa lukuunottamatta majoitukset ovat lemmikkiystävällisiä. Lemmikkisiivousmaksu 10€ koko yöpymisen ajalta.
