Safe & unique overnight experience on Lake Inari. Half a meter of ice and 12 meters of water under. It is great place for aurora watching.

The cabin & price

The lake is safely frozen normally between December and April. Then in the evening we can move you & the cabin by snowmobile from the base camp out to the lake ice for overnight. There is unique atmosphere and wide landscape for sky watching. In the morning I will come back and move you & the cabin back to the base camp. You are all the time less than 2km from all village facilities and the base camp. With bad weather and in September-November the cabins stay in the base camp, 1 km outside the village. Every cabin has:
- big windows on the front, sides and roof
- a quality double bed
- a safe heating system
- lights
- a portable toilet
- power & wifi at the base camp. Base camp facilities are available during day time: shower, sink, water-toilet, lounge, kitchen, wifi, barbecue tepee. Price / cabin / night is normally 375eur. There are discounts for singles, for multiple night stays and outside December-March high season. Price includes:
- overnight in the cabin with bed linen
- good breakfast
- base camp facilities
- pick up service in Inari village

In the evening at 18:00 we serve dinner from open fire in the Grill Hut Restaurant.
3 course dinner just 35€/person. You can choose main course from white fish file, reindeer sausage or vegetarian stake.
After the dinner you have one hour to prepare for the night on the lake ice.
