Jongunjoki is located 32 kilometers north of Lieksa in the middle of the North Karelian landscape. Our company not only accommodates guests but also organizes programs and diverse nature experiences according to our customer's wishes. Anyone traveling with
a child, an elderly person, or an active adventurer, can come and enjoy nature with us. The proximity of the waterways encourages not only swimming and rowing but also canoeing, kayaking, packrafting, SUP boarding, fishing.... Jongunjoen Matkailu arranges equipment rental, guidance, and other necessary equipment on request. On land you can hike, bike, pick berries or mushrooms... In winter, skiing, snowshoeing, dogsledding, or ice fishing are the must-do activities. Guests can also just come to slow down and relax in the middle of a unique nature. Accommodation can be arranged either in the double rooms of the main building or in a separate, spacious cottage with amenities. In addition to accommodation, Jongunjoen Matkailu offers meals and transport from the nearest train station or airport. The beach sauna, smoke sauna and nordic bath are heated on request.
