In Torassieppi Eco Reindeer Resort you’ll get familiar with Lapland’s iconic animal in a unique environment. You’ll stay in an ecological wilderness hotel by a lake, in a gorgeous setting by the Pallas-Yllästunturi National Park. A five-minute walk away, there’s a nearly 200-year-old farm called Lapinkartano (“Lapland Manor”), where reindeer husbandry has been practiced for more than a century. Th

e main house has also served as an inn for travelers between Muonio village and Pallastunturi fell. The authentic reindeer farm gives you a glimpse into Sámi culture through its history: Lapinkartano functions as a museum displaying original artefacts used at the reindeer farm. You’ll meet reindeer at close quarters and can embark on a tour or ride with them all year round. Torassieppi is also home to a sled dog farm, and its run-loving inhabitants are happy to be harnessed as your muscle-powered tour machines. In addition to the animals, all outdoor tours and activities are available to you right outside the hotel door at Torassieppi Eco Reindeer Resort. Our restaurant invites you to enjoy organic and local food. The menu changes weekly, but the main ingredients stay constant: Lapland reindeer, fish from local waters and berries and mushrooms from local forests. Torassieppi on Harriniva Hotels & Safaris -perheen uusin kohde. Se sijaitsee Länsi-Lapin Muoniossa ja koostuu mökkikylästä, porotilasta museoineen, huskytarhasta sekä Winter Village -jäähotellista. Porotilalla on takanaan perinteikäs ja pitkä historia, sillä se perustettiin vuonna 1847. Torassieppi tarjoaa luonnonläheistä ja -mukaista ohjelmaa Lapin kauniiden tuntureiden keskellä. Torassieppi is situated in West-Lapland just next to the Pallas-Ylläs national park. The place is ideal for anyone loving the nature and enjoying the peace and quiet. The fact that there is hardly any light pollution around makes this also the nro 1 place to see the Northern Lights. As a part of the Harriniva Hotels and Safaris family we offer a wide range of winter activities on spot and also in our sister hotels (Harriniva and Jeris). At Torassieppi you can enjoy reindeer rides and safaris, the atmosphere of the old reindeer museum and manor house, husky safaries, visiting the santa and overnighting in the Winter village. In summer time we are offering a variety of courses and trainings that rely on wellbeing and the nature products.
