Fresh Smoked & Local Lake Fish – Every Wednesday in July

Every Wednesday throughout July, our village shop is filled with the delicious aroma of freshly smoked fish!

Our fish vendor will be on-site from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm, serving freshly smoked fish prepared right at the shop. Come early to pick your favorites!

You'll also find a great selection of fresh local lake fish from the surrounding waters, available both whole and filleted. Depending on the catch, the selection includes perch, pike-perch (zander), pike, and vendace.

Take home the freshest flavors of the Finnish summer and enjoy high-quality local fish straight from nearby lakes.

Today, the women from the sales teams of Kanava Resort, Loma-Oravi and Eräpalvelu got to try their luck fishing on the windy waters of Lake Haukivesi 🎣

And the fishing went pretty well — the lunch soup ended up with more than just potatoes 😄
