L’Oisette is situated adjacent to the first fairway of the championship golfcourse of Chateau des Ormes, Dol de bretagne, in the heart of Brittany. Four elegant, spacious bedrooms – all en-suite – with every modern comfort you desire, await you for a tranquile and peaceful holiday. This elegant Bed and Breakfast venue is surrounded by a well equipped terrace, covered by a pergola on the southside
and a large awning on the west side. The 2000 m2 garden extends into the golfcourse. There is however no danger that a golfball will reach you. The livingroom is comfortable and elegantly decorated with many antiques and beautiful artwork. A large open fireplace invites to relax on the colder autumn/winter evenings. Breakfast is served at a large wooden table in the open plan kitchen. Dinner can be served on prior notice. Brittany enjoys many more beautiful golfcourses within a radius of appr. 25-40 kms:
-The in 1887 built 18 hole golfcourse of Dinard, which is the second oldest golf course in France;
-The 18 hole golfcourse of Pléneuf-val-André with its beautiful views over sandy beaches and cliffs;
-The 18 hole golfcourse of Saint Malo, le Tronchet. This golfcourse is more inland and enjoys lakes and woodland;
-The 18 hole golfcourse Pen Guen, St. Cast le Guildo, spreading out along the coastline and the inland meadows and woodlands;
-The 18 hole golfcourse of Sables d’Or , which derives its name from the golden coloured sandy beaches. Sables d’Or is situated next to the magnificent viewpoint of Cap Fréhel. The historic sites of Mont Saint Michel , Combourg, Saint Malo, Dinan are at your doorstep as are the beautiful beaches of the Côte d’Emeraude and Côte d’Armor. Dinard , which stages each year during the month of October the famous filmfestival of British films, is easy accessible by a ten minute boat ride from Saint Malo or by road ,across the barrage de la Rance. Cancale is famous for its oysters, mussles and other seafood. Both Dinard and Cancale are next to Saint Malo, the start of many a famous boat race. It will be my great pleasure to welcome you at l’Oisette, a crossroad of Romanticism (l’écrivain romantique Chateaubriand né à Combourg) et la Baie de Mont Saint Michel.
