Loïc Depailler
Depailler
Loïc

At FORMOSA, I am always looking for moments
that are not simply experiences,
but something that stays.
That lap felt as if it was driven alongside history.
This time, I accompanied a client from Taiwan
into an experience that goes beyond speed.
I had the privilege of inviting Loïc Depailler
as his private instructor.
For those who know motorsport,
the name Depailler carries weight.
His father, Patrick Depailler, was one of the names
that made France proud in the 1970s.
But what stayed with me that day
was not the history itself,
but the quiet continuation of it.
Loïc sat in the passenger seat,
offering precise guidance,
gentle corrections,
and a presence that needed no emphasis.
He never spoke about his father,
yet every detail felt like a transmission.
In that moment, I realized —
a racetrack is not only about speed,
but about how time continues.
And I simply happened to be there,
bringing this kind of moment
into the FORMOSA experience.
This is what FORMOSA seeks to create —
not something arranged,
but something remembered.
