The Grand Lunar New Year Parade 2026 welcomes the Year of the Fire Horse! 🔥🐴🔥

To mark the end of the Lunar New Year celebrations, Paris’ 13th arrondissement hosts its iconic and vibrant parade. Organized by ARFOI since 1986, this event has become one of the city’s most beloved multicultural celebrations.
Each year, thousands of Parisians and visitors from around the world gather to enjoy dragon and lion dances, traditional costumes, colorful floats, festive characters, and an unforgettable atmosphere.

🕑 The parade starts at 2:00 PM and runs until 5:00 PM.
Route:
37 rue du Disque (44 avenue d’Ivry) → Tolbiac / Choisy intersection → avenue de Choisy → boulevard Masséna → avenue d’Ivry.

Arrive early to secure a good viewing spot. It’s also the perfect opportunity to explore the neighborhood’s authentic Asian restaurants, many of which offer special holiday menus for the occasion!

Tang Frères, one of France’s main Asian food importers, traditionally distributes balloons and small gifts for children during the parade.

W 13 dzielnicy Paryża, tradycyjnie na zakończenie obchodów Księżycowego Nowego Roku, odbywa się barwna i spektakularna defilada. Organizatorem wydarzenia jest stowarzyszenie ARFOI, które pielęgnuje tę tradycję nieprzerwanie od 1986 roku.
To jedno z najbardziej wyczekiwanych wydarzeń w tej części miasta, przyciągające tysiące paryżan oraz gości z całego świata. W programie m.in. tańce smoków i lwów, kolorowe platformy, tradycyjne stroje, bajkowe postacie i świąteczne transparenty – prawdziwa eksplozja kolorów i energii!
