A small rural site for grown-ups only on the borders of the Dordogne and Lot-et-Garonne.

Welcome to Moulin Brûlé, a friendly, luxury, grown-ups only campsite with accommodation located in 4 acres of unspoilt peaceful countryside. Just over the border from the Dordogne into the Lot-et-Garonne and close to historic and lively Eymet. Relax by the heated swimming pool where loungers and parasols are provided. Enjoy an ice cream, cold drink or chocolate from the poolside honesty bar.

Time to remove the leaves from the terrain! We had great help from our daughter and even granddaughter Cato turned out to be a big little helper. One step closer to a campsite that is ready to receive visitors as of 29 May🤗

And suddenly it’s here, the first night of frost at Moulin Brûlé. The autumn weather was often still quite warm, with temperatures above 20 degrees on several days. Gardening in the sun, not a bad way to spend our time here. The sun beds are in the pool shed, the pool is closed. Both the gite and vintage mobilhome are ready for winter. The water supply to the campsite has been shut off, the cold weather can come now.
Seeing all the leaves change colour this time of year is so beautiful, all the shades of yellow, orange and red, and when they fall there are all these views through the branches that can only be enjoyed now. And we are enjoying it so much!

We’ve just returned home after a very special trip to the Netherlands. It was on the occasion of the birth of our second grandchild. His name is Gijs👶 So special to hold him in our hands! We really enjoyed spending time with all our children and grandchildren, family and friends in NL💕

It’s a WRAP! Our last visitors of the 2025 camping season left this weekend.🚙💨 Now Moulin Brûlé is empty again. We’re cleaning the sanitary block one more time before we close the door for a period. Looking back on another wonderful season with lots of special encounters, cozy summer evenings and several heatwaves😀 Later this week we will share our retrospective of the season (and share some news with you) in our newsletter. Harvest time at Moulin Brûlé!🍐🍇 It remains special to be able to harvest so much fruit from your own land. We like to share it with our camping guests and will soon go into the kitchen to make her famous jam!

Our tip for a great Friday lunch (with a view): . They serve generous platters with delicious fresh foods. We enjoyed it with our children who were visiting.
