Lovely peaceful holiday villa with 4 bedrooms, a huge garden and a pool (11m x 5m). Come and unwind! The area is a haven for a huge array of flora and fauna.

The Charente is a tranquil and rural undiscovered part of South West France. As far as the eye can see, fields of sunflowers and vineyards spread across the landscape. The Charente river winds its way very close to the house and is a fabulous spot for a picnic or fishing. The surrounding area has lots of interesting villages and you can enjoy all sorts of activities like horse riding, canoeing, fi

shing, cafes, restaurants, cycling and vineyard tours. Cities like Angouleme, Cognac, Bordeaux and Poitier are between 25 mins and 2 hours drive away. Days out at Futuroscope a family theme park with emphasis on technology and visual effects is great fun and if you want the beach its a 1.5 hour drive to La Rochelle. There are two very splendid chateau's nearby at Verteuil-sur-Charente, this pretty village also has some lovely restaurants and cafes and a little further the chateau at La Rochfaucauld stands above the river. You can take a tour here then explore the town. If you'd like some pampering and well-being during your stay we can organise a massage for you in our very own treatment room, and personal qigong and meditation sessions. (Please enquire)

When you're all done at the end of an adventurous day, kick your shoes off and enjoy a cold drink on the back terrace watching the sun go down.
