Last night, Le Relais d'Amboise welcomed its first guests.

Around us were friends, partners, and those who brought this place into being: LBBA-Architectes, who designed its architecture, Roque Intérieurs, who imagined its interiors, and Joséphine Fossey, who curated each work of art that now lives within its walls.

They watched the place take form; last night, they saw it come to life.

We wandered through the salons, raised a glass in the evening light, and discovered every corner for the first time.
Each guest left something of their presence here, a first layer in a story only just beginning.

Thank you for being part of the very first chapter.

A Château that shaped an era.
Long before it became a name, Amboise was a stage for kings, artists, and ideas that would define the French Renaissance.

Charles VIII was born within its walls. In 1516, François I invited Leonardo da Vinci to Amboise, offering him the nearby Château du Clos Lucé, where the master spent his final years. Today, Leonardo rests within the chapel of Saint-Hubert, at the heart of the château.

From its terraces, the view over the Loire has remained unchanged for centuries.

Just steps away, Le Relais d'Amboise carries this legacy forward.

Soft curtains, hand-painted ceilings echoing the Loire's own woodlands, and a palette drawn from the valley's natural light.

This is Le Choiseul, where Michelin-starred Chef Nicolas Aubry and Executive Chef Vincent Léger Blanchard will compose a menu that pays tribute to the region's finest produce and the hands behind it.
