Le petit déjeuner 🥐🥖
On me demande parfois pourquoi il n’y a pas d’œufs, de bacon ou de charcuterie le matin.
Parce qu’à L’Annexe, j’ai choisi autre chose.
J’ai choisi des produits simples, bons, bien faits.🍊☕️🍯
Des choses que j’aurais envie de poser sur ma propre table.
Plutôt que de multiplier les options, je préfère la qualité, le goût, la cohérence… et éviter le gaspillage.
Chaque matin, je propose :
pain frais et viennoiseries du jour,
confiture maison, beurre, miel de la région,
fruits, yaourts, céréales,
jus d’orange, café, thé, chocolat chaud,
et un bon Comté.
Le matin on partage la table avec les autres. C’est un moment ensemble, où la barrière de la langue s’efface le temps d’un instant, laissant place au langage universel de la bonne bouffe !
Ps: Promis, ici, personne ne se fait croquer au petit déjeuner sauf peut être par un petit chat😸

I am sometimes asked why there are no eggs, bacon or cold cuts in the morning.
Because in L’Annexe, I chose something else.
I chose simple, good, well-made products. 🍊☕️🍯
Things I would like to put on my own table.
Rather than multiplying the options, I prefer quality, taste, consistency... and avoid waste.
Every morning, I propose:
Fresh bread and pastries of the day,
Homemade jam, butter, local honey,
Fruits, yoghurts, cereals,
Orange juice, coffee, tea, hot chocolate,
And a good Comté (cheese)
In the morning we share the table with others. It’s a moment together, where the language barrier is erased for a moment, giving way to the universal language of good food!
Ps: I promise, here, no one gets bitten at breakfast except maybe by a little cat😸
