summer morning or in winter by the open fire. Parking available on my quiet village street, it is safe and secure around here. Great regional cuisine restaurants closeby. Cycle or stroll around the country lanes to discover the historic region or explore the local area of lower Normandy and the Brittany coast, Mont St Michel, Saint Malo, Cancale or the Normandy Beaches are a short journey away. Ardevon and its heritage listed Priory was first settled around the 11th century shortly after Mont St Michel. Weekly local street markets, country fairs and antique markets abound throughout the year. My cottage is on one of the signposted routes of the pilgrimage walking trails to "Camino de Santiago" and close to many WW2 memorial sites. Private tours to the local attractions can be arranged. Free pick up from Pontorson train station. Free wifi and cycles available.
