We arrived in France on March 13, 2020. Six years later we are still renovating, but it’s almost done! It has been the adventure of a lifetime!! Love our life here and all the wonderful people we have met along the way and all the memories made too!

The days keep passing by so quickly and I haven’t posted an update on the room! Finally got the walls built, sanded for two days, wallpapered and now getting the wood trim up as well! Progress has been slow, but it’s still progress! Hoping to finish this weekend! It’s going to rain so might as well be inside working!

We finally cleared out the next room for renovation. This will become another bedroom and bathroom. But the hard stuff is next……removing the ceiling, removing the floor, insulating, install new floors and build walls. No shortage of work!!

Today we put all the outdoor furniture away and starting the process of closing down the pool. Not my favorite thing to do as summer is the time of year I love the most. However, the nights are cooler so we are sleeping so much better and now it’s time to shift from linen to cozy sweaters. Lots to be grateful for as we start the final phase renovations soon! Exciting times ahead!!
