I met rivel! 😍 😍

At the end of a long alley of platanes (of which Mirela Vasile paints the soul) is a sweet village.

The Poetry of the alleys where you can guess the sweet life of formerly (the letters of an old coffee, life around the drinking water ⛲️...)

The calm of the water that flows, the charm of houses, stones, wood, its gardens and alleys awaken to the laughter of the children who improvise a night hide and seek.

A village that these inhabitants animate with 🎻 art 🎨, the yoga classes of a sparkling Brazilian... ♀️ ♀️

Walks 🚴 ♀️ 🏃🏼 ♂️ ♀️🏃🏼 in the middle of flowers perfumes, land, grass, Plum, mirabelles... a fragrance of simple happiness, time that flows slowly, Peacefully.

Family time, with friends around a game of petanque, football, a belote, evening walks.

The Summer Season is coming, go to Air B'n'B, L'Ancienne Boulangerie, Rivel, France, for more pictures and to book. Lakes, Markets, Vineyards and just an hour to the South, the Mediterranean Sea. Cathare Castles and Fortresses throughout the region, 3/4 hour to the West the Pyrenees and Spain.

Our Story

A pretty stone house, once the village bakery, with lots of rustic character and modern touches, that’s been a part of village life for a very long time. Many villagers have fond memories of queuing up on the old stone steps for their daily bread. The property was once the hub of the village where people gathered, their arms laden with warm bread and chatted about village life. You can see the worn stone treads that lead up to the original bread oven, a classic brick built ‘Fours a Bois’, one of the best and most beautiful remaining. We are so lucky to be able to share a bit of this history with new friends and old.
