What a week it’s been at Au Coin des Arbres! ☀️

This week we welcomed our very first guests and have been filming for our new ‘project’.

However, it quickly became clear that the focus wasn’t going to be on the gîtes, the pool or even the Dordogne views… Ozzy had other ideas! 🐾

Our little Zuchon spent the day following the cameraman around, appearing whenever he could and generally making sure he was the centre of attention (what’s new!). Needless to say, he stole the show.

Seeing our first guests arrive and start enjoying everything we’ve worked so hard to create has made this a really special week for us.

Here’s to a wonderful first season at Au Coin des Arbres. 🌿🏡☀️

Poolside at Au Coin Des Arbres ☀️💦

Over the past few months we’ve been refreshing the pool area and gardens ready for summer — new loungers, fresh planting,and lots of little finishing touches.

We’re so happy with how it’s all come together, especially seeing it captured in this week’s photo shoot.

What. A. Day. 🇫🇷✨

Completely down to the wire… our new Velux window was literally being fitted at 8am this morning and the van had barely left before the photographer arrived 😅

But somehow, everything came together and we’ve had the most amazing day photographing Au Coin Des Arbres ready for the new website launch.

And yes… there’s been something else going on behind the scenes too 👀

We’ve also been filming for a TV project over the past few weeks, which has made this whole experience even more surreal.

Huge thank you to Ian, our cameraman, and Nick & Nicky from Top Maison for being part of it all — we’ve had an absolute blast. You guys were amazing and we had so much fun!

Big day today at Au Coin Des Arbres 🇫🇷

Photo shoot day has finally arrived.

After lots of decorating, garden projects, pool upgrades, new furniture, planting and plenty of preparation, all four of our gîtes are finally ready for their new website photos.

From misty Dordogne mornings to golden evenings by the pool, today is all about capturing the atmosphere we’ve been creating here at our little corner of France.
