In the south of France, between Carcassonne and Narbonne in, you will find our castle where you can stay in luxury (family) suites. Welkom at Chateau de Blomac!

The construction of the present Chateau de Blomac started in 1789 and has been lived in and renovated by various families. Wine is still being made. In the castle there are now very spacious and comfortable(family) suites, where our guests will stay regally (chambres d'hotes). The various outbuildings are converted into holiday houses (gites) with the sturdy character of this wine area. We do have

a large (7x13) swimmingpool, chlorine free, for all our guests. The estate is ideal for fairylike wedding or anniversary parties. Larger parties could be received for art- and antique arrangements, cooking courses and pastry-workshops. Imagine your own family or theme gatherings and we will make it true in this inspiring setting. And of course we can't ignore it: exciting your taste buds with exquisite wines.

The sun, the breeze, the sound of the crickets, close to the Cite of Carcassone, sea and markets and later on the day you could jump into our infinity swimming pool to cool down. In the evening we serve excellent dinners with private labelled wine which causes a care free and splendid family holiday in our château. What more could you wish for on a family holiday? If you book right now for three or more nights in July or August for this year, you will get 20 procent discount on the room price.

The sun is shining, our park is constantly changing colour, .butler.designs did a fabulous job by renewing our aprons with our logo , guests can chill by the pool, season really started!👍

Studeer je aan de hotelschool of heb je al horeca/ hospitality ervaring?

Ben je enthousiast, leergierig, een doorzetter, servicegericht, geen 9 tot 5 mentaliteit, kun je zelfstandig werken maar ook in een klein team en vind je het leuk om onze gasten een top verblijf te bezorgen?
Lees dan vooral verder want dan ben jij misschien wel de juiste persoon die we zoeken!

Chateau de Blomac is een kleinschalige B&B met internationale gasten waarvan wij, Fred & Jacqueline, de eigenaren zijn.
De werkzaamheden zijn divers en wisselen dagelijks, dus geen dag is hetzelfde.
Van ontvangen van gasten, ontbijt klaarmaken en helpen bij voorbereiding en serveren van lunch/ diner, kamers schoonmaken, drankjes bij het zwembad serveren, aanspreekpunt zijn voor onze gasten tot helpen bij trouwfeesten.

Fred brengt je de kneepjes van de basis kennis wijn bij tenslotte bevindt onze locatie zich in het grootste wijngebied van Europa, de Languedoc Roussillon.
In de keuken kun je van Jacqueline veel leren, desserts maken zijn haar favoriet.

Qua talen spreek je Nederlands, Engels, Frans (basis).
Basis Frans is nodig om ook werkzaamheden uit te voeren als ontvangst, bardienst etc. Wij bevinden ons vlakbij de Spaanse grens en zou je ook nog je Spaans kunnen gebruiken.

Op dit moment zoeken wij nog meerdere personen tussen half mei en eind september 2023. Beschikbaarheid vanaf 8 weken tot max. 5 maanden.

Het dorp Blomac ligt in de prachtige regio de Aude die enorm rijk is aan natuur, cultuur en historie. Dichtstbijzijnde grote stad is Carcassonne (18 km) waar de wereldberoemde La Cité de Carcassonne staat (miljoenen internationale bezoekers per jaar), werelderfgoed.
In het dorp zelf zijn geen winkels etc. dus een rijbewijs is zowel voor jezelf als ons handig. Wil je er tijdens je vrije dag op uit om naar het strand van Narbonne te gaan (45 km) of iets anders te bezoeken dan mag een auto geleend worden.
Een goede sfeer en teamspirit om samen de klus te klaren vinden wij heel belangrijk.
Zo starten wij de dag op met gezamenlijk ontbijt en lunchen we ook samen, als een soort familie.

Begin maart, de zon schijnt heerlijk in Blomac, buiten lunchen op de veranda, de planten in het park schieten uit, dagelijks steeds meer paarse irissen, wat een geluk!
Toch ontbreekt er iets belangrijks op dit moment, namelijk de enthousiaste leerlingen van het uit Goes. Wat een topclub hadden we vorig jaar.
Elk jaar rond eind februari, begin maart is het hier een heerlijke drukte want dan komen er 8 stagiaires van het samen met 2 hoveniers van naar Blomac.
Helaas dit jaar door Corona nu geen bedrijvigheid van tractoren, zaagmachines, takken versnipperaar, nieuwe aanplant, zitbank zagen in omgevallen boom maar ook niet gezellig met z’n allen rond de grote eettafel kletsen en de inwendige mens verwennen, want honger hebben ze na dat harde werken.
De gezaaide zomerbloeiers in het park waren een succes, en ook al zijn de jongelui er niet de natuur gaat gewoon zijn gang. De irissen die vorig jaar zijn verplant beginnen met bloeien, nieuw gezaaid gras bij het vakantiehuis slaat goed aan.

Enthousiast kijken wij ernaar uit dat jullie waarschijnlijk in het najaar weer komen!
