A review from Barbara and Rob - 12th June 2017
We were welcomed by Pam and Jeff with a glass of wine before we were shown around the cottage which is next door. The cottage is very pretty from the outside and has been furnished and decorated beautifully on the inside. Bed and settees wonderfully comfortable, English TV and a few steps away from the River Charente with a view of the Grand Marnier Chateau in the distance.
A small café/post office/shop just a few steps away or if you wish there is the Michelin Star restaurant the other side of the cottage. There is small garden at the back of the cottage with barbecue, table and chairs which is very peaceful and relaxing.
We had a very enjoyable relaxing week and were fortunate in that the sun shone every day. We would love to return sometime and have no hesitation in recommending this as a place to stay.
