Although the pool is not available with the gite, there will be days when it can be used. This 1 bedroom (sleeps 4) property is in the centre of the beautiful village of Brantome, yet in a quiet location with private garden and balcony with stunning views over the village and Abbey. It is ideal for those wanting private accommodation but walking distance of all amenities and the bars, restaurants, market and festivities of Brantome.

It’s with sadness to announce that Gite Ecosse is no more! The house has now been sold. The Gite was built 10 years ago and has hosted many guests who have also enjoyed the beautiful village of Brantome. The new owners will also be renting it out and I will put a link to their website once it’s available. Thanks to everyone who stayed here !

Anyone craving some warm weather in the next few weeks? The weather here is good and we have availability for anyone wanting a last minute holiday during May for only £450 per week. My parents are here to look after gite ecosse and in danger of having too much fun so the gite needs you.

This is the forecast for Brantome this week! Hopefully this is the start of a fantastic summer. If this keeps up the pool should be nice and warm when it gets opened in May. Anyone tempted to book for May??

Since adding a picture of ourselves to the owners direct website a week ago, we've had no bookings. We should maybe replace it with Norman Bates.

Wow, this time last year we had a few enquiries, but no bookings. This year, we currently have 7 weeks booked and 3 in the process of booking, which puts us at the half way stage already!

Well I'm sure there are some loosening of belts and avoidance of the scales for more than a few. With Hogmanay still to come! If you are now dreaming of warmer weather, cycling, canoeing, walking or just eating and drinking even more, then you might want to book your holiday for next year! We have already taken our first 2 week booking for July/August so if you're thinking of booking, better get going! We are offering £100 off for any repeat bookings from last year....
