'm still officially a bit of a geek you'll be glad to hear - the storm started and I filmed it (it's the media teacher in me - never miss a good opp) and I took some stills from it. It was pretty spectacular, I have to say, even when the lights went out! The first picture in 'Our first proper storm' is how the scene looked when there was no lightning and the second is exactly the same camera angle as the black one - the whole sky lit up for miles around...
