La Cachette - The hideaway

This is a special spot, looking up to the village of Callian and the chateau on the one hand and across the valley and up to the foothills of the Alps on the other. There are three terraces with fantastic views and all 3 bedrooms lead directly onto the terracing.

It’s tranquil and private with a 3/4-acre Provencal garden with a natural spring that keeps it green year-round. The private swimming pool has a pool house with a built-in barbecue and there are two lovely villages just 10 minutes’ walk away.

We lived here for 18 months planning to turn it into a family home. But work took us to Asia and since then we have visited whenever we can. In the meantime we rent the villa over the summer months and for longer periods off season.
