- some beautiful details of the “Tours Narbonaises”. Both towers form the main entrance to the , called “Porte Narbonnaise”. It’s maybe the part where the strength of the fortress is the most visible.

- the largest of medieval history still standing. The 2 rings of walls are together 3km long. The tallest and most impressive tower on the outside ring calls “Tour de La Vade” - the tower is an autonomous fortification, including its own well, oven, latrines - all this spread over 5 floors. I love ❤️ it!
