We have bees again! So happy !
Our neighbour found a swarm in his garden, so Steve caught and homed the friendly bees ! Let’s hope they stay.

Great idea! Need to use our fleeces !

The award winning innovation from has a profound and distinct connection to the land. They encapsulate the fleece of wild upland sheep, each piece creating unique markings and flecks of colour that appear in the unexpectedly smooth surface once pressed into its neat form. Like knots in wood or veins in marble, each marking is a record of the materials that formed it.

The Welsh Mountain sheep used are a hardy, British breed that still roam the rugged hillsides of Wales today as they did centuries ago. Using this close-textured wool from both the white and black Welsh Mountain sheep, creates a distinctive and veining throughout the unique composite.

Demand for this type of wool has declined over the years and it is now considered almost worthless and a by-product of sheep farming. This innovation in wool utilises the wool of traditional, hardy breeds and supports British farms, reducing carbon footprint, whilst maintaining traditional skills and craftsmanship.
