2 things: A BIG birthday and so much gratitude😍
1)Martin was 60 this weekend🥳. Grand merci for all your well wishing and help celebrating. After 4 long days of hay making in the canicule, Martin finally got to relax with an evening bbq & friends🍾. Sunday we took a train to go somewhere different -over the beautiful Millevache national park and then to lunch. All the lifts and trains were going so well until the train home, 2hrs delay for a fire on the line (the 2nd🔥of the day, maybe due to the steam train on the same line🤔). However, SNCF provided water and a snack box which was impressively good, bio and mostly recyclable. We were 2 hours late for our friend to taxi us home and had no means of communication so thought we would walk (am still on crutches) BUT, happy moment, to see Paul waiting for us at the station.
So also saying a grand merci.....
2) Thank you to everyone who has helped us over the last 6weeks; The flower photo is for you all , for all the driving, taxi-ing, occasional animal help & food shopping. Your support has been invaluable and so appreciated and we feel so lucky and part of a community😊. I walked the dogs a little today and will soon drive/cycle/run again.
