Ski Breezy - catered chalet accommodation in Chamonix, France

Second in the overdue posts and thanks to more folk.

What a fabulous week and varied week with my big brother Henry and his son Finlay plus some Yorkshire buddies HB and his son Archie, Mat from Val Desire for his second week and a Gerodie Lass AKA as Danger Bird for good measure! Thanks to Sarah and Mike from Aussie who are on an extended European trip for mucking in with the madness of the week too.

Forecast was not great but luckily it was wrong for the start of the week so we had 3 fabulous days in Le Tour, Les Contamines and Courmayeur. Sunshine, great piste skiing and long lunches!

End of the week conditions on the vis front were trickier but we made the most of the days and found some good snow.

Even managed to get them all to experience Saturday chicken which sadly was indoors but went down well with prosecco nonetheless!

Just so much fun catching up with you all, providing us with much fun, laughter, drinkies and an expanding waistline too! So pleased you could all make it here for the finale!

Thanks to everyone who has supported us this season. We finally have a little time to post some photos we have missed. More tomorrow!

The Cham gang have been coming since we opened. Back in the day it was January skiing they came for, first lift, last lift and butties for lunch. Apres ski, dinner at the chalet and out till 2am! 25 years on times have changed slightly with long lunches up the hill in mountain restos, and sunnier apres ski drinkies in the sun, then dinner then bed!!! but just as much fun!!! We found some good snow, in the wall to wall sunshine. What a stunning week. Some of us went up touring at Le Tour, Courmayeur and up the Midi too. Lots of fun skiing all the areas, many a giggle and 25 years of fabulous memories for us. A top last day with a Saturday chuck picnic at Le Tour in the sun.
A mahoosive thank you to you all for your support over all the years, some of you came as friends already and some as guests but you are all truly now some of our greatest friends. Wonderful that you have made such good friendships in the group and particularly feel r**t chuffed that Ski Breezy brought Dave and Jude together!!!! You are amazingly FAB together. See you all soon.

Yesterday we waved good bye to our last guests after 25 years of running Ski Breezy it is time to hang up the oven gloves and marigolds and head to ventures new. An emotional day for us both but what an amazing sunny week to finish on with such a top group in the chalet. Thank you all for making it such a fun and easy last week for us both. Games, laughter, skiing, sun, sun and more sun, birthday celebrations for tony Anthony Forder oh and plenty of hot spring skiing! Missing you all far too quiet here at the moment! More to follow of the last 6 weeks now we have time to sit down and post some piccies of the last few months at the chalet....

Snow still seems pretty good at Grands Montets. More weather due this weekend. The winter season that just keeps on giving...

A little ski tour from the Aig du Midi over to the Italian side and a ski down the Vallee Noire. So much snow we had to find the steeper pitches just to move.

Lift assisted ski touring. Mostly North facing but Breezy found a little sunny spot to rip up. More powder than you can shake a stick at!

Teamed up with great friends for a ski tour over to Italy from the Aiguille du Midi. Amazing descent of the Vallee Noire. More powder and fresh tracks than ever before. Definitely one to remember. Boom!!!

There were two folk booting up this slope near the lake at Le Brevent yesterday. They were pulling jumps off a lip into deep powder. Pretty impressive and a good effort.
Couldn't resist the shot from a distance.
