Today marks exactly 25 years since we left the Netherlands and bought Le Prieuré! 🎉
25 years ago, we arrived with big dreams… and probably no real idea of how many winters would be spent covered in dust, paint, and “just one more small renovation project.” 😅
Since then, every winter seemed to come with its own “little job”—which, of course, always turned into something slightly bigger than planned. It hasn’t always been easy, but looking at it now, we have to admit: the result is pretty amazing.
But don’t worry, we’re not going anywhere! We’ll happily continue, and we hope to do so for many years to come, so our guests can keep enjoying this special place☺️
Here’s to many more beautiful years ahead (with slightly fewer renovation projects… hopefully 😄)! 🍾🥂🥂
