in the Picardie area, right in the heart of World War I's trench warfare places. Chez Ric et Fer Suite B&B **** is situated in one of the city's oldest houses which was rebuilt with the castle's stones right after the bombings of World War I. The house used to be the village's chemist's shop during the 1920's. Giving a modern twist to its ancient style thanks to a high-end vintage chic interior design, this house allows you to take the most of French history as well as elegance through its 1970's inspired design. The house's pleasant garden leads you to the majestic private staircase made of cast iron from the Eiffel era, leading to the elegant and luxurious suite and bedroom equipped with a sumptuous King Size bed overlooking a 50 sq. An original oak and walnut desk, a vintage convertible armchair, a bed and pieces of furniture from renowned designers, high-end wooden floor, original Teppaz turntable, flat screen TV, Wifi internet access, nothing is left to chance in Chez Ric et Fer Suite B&B ****. A custom-made glass roof perfectly fitting the house's massive exposed beams accommodates a bathroom worthy of the greatest designers. Listening to a Serge Gainsbourg record while swinging on the clear Kubikoff armchair resting on art deco concrete tiles will remain an unforgettable moment. And what about relaxing in the large Italian-style shower? The healthy home-made breakfast, only made with local fresh products, will be served at your request either:
- discreetly as a room service,
- outside so that you can enjoy the sun and the wonderful view from the terrace,
- in house. Whether you're shy, talkative, hungry for history, a music or photography fanatic, Richard and Fernanda will be only too pleased to welcome you and make your stay the most enjoyable.

Cela faisait quelques semaines que nous n’avions pas partagé de portraits…

Alors aujourd’hui, ce n’est pas 1, ni 2, ni même 3 visages que nous vous présentons… mais 10 portraits de voyageurs venus des quatre coins de l’Europe et qui sont venus poser leurs valises chez nous ces derniers temps.

Merci à chacun d’eux pour ces beaux moments partagés à Coucy-le-Château. Les discussions autour d’un café, les histoires de voyage, les sourires au moment du départ… c’est exactement ce qui fait vivre la maison.

La petite pause hivernale touche à sa fin : la saison reprend et les chambres se remplissent à nouveau.

On vous laisse découvrir ces visages qui ont fait vivre la maison ces dernières semaines… et qui sait, peut-être que le prochain portrait sera le vôtre.

It’s been a few weeks since we last shared some portraits…

So today, it’s not 1, not 2, not even 3 faces we’re introducing, but 10 portraits of travellers from all across Europe who came to stay with us recently.

A big thank you to each of them for the lovely moments shared here in Coucy-le-Château. The conversations over coffee, the travel stories, the smiles when it’s time to leave… that’s exactly what brings this house to life.

The little winter pause is over: the season is starting again, and the rooms are filling up.

L’automne s’installe doucement…
Entre lumières dorées et couleurs cuivrées, nos guests se sont prêtés au jeu devant l’objectif chez Ric & Fer ces derniers jours.
Leur spontanéité et la douceur de la saison se mélangent pour offrir des portraits où chaque visage reflète les plus belles teintes de l’automne. Un bel automne, riche en couleurs… et en belles rencontres.
