More issues with the massive frost / ice build up on some chairlifts this morning. Expect delayed openings higher up until this can be cleared safely. Looks like Plantrey, Lanches & Bouc Blanc are affected so far.

10-15cm of fresh snow overnight but accompanied by high winds. Off piste avalanche risk has increased to 3 out of 5 (CONSIDERABLE RISK).

Yesterday when skiing in to clouds we had the rare phenomenon off freezing fog with a layer of ice instantly applied to your goggles!

Update 10:15 - Chanrossa / Roc Merlet both now have an opening estimated for 11:00 this morning.

Spectacular views of the aftermath of the avalanche control work on the Chanrossa sector on Saturday.

The avalanche blasting had to be performed via helicopter to minimise risk to Pisteurs.

Chanrossa area is expected to be open by 10:30 (Jean Pachod piste only as Chanrossa is blocked) and Roc Merlet on time.
