LE POTAGER //

Slowly nature starts to wake up around us. We will soon start to sow the first seeds, make the new veggie garden plan and dream about the abundance that our garden has to offer. Things never go according to plan. Chickens mess everything up, it is too wet, too dry, late frost, other insects indulging on the fruits…but the fun is in the trying and every year our garden gets a bit bigger and the harvest more bountiful. Curious to see what our garden has in store for us this year…

LES POULES // its a joy to have them wandering around, giving us delicious fresh eggs, fertilise (and sometimes mess up) our veggie garden and they’re pretty good company …we have to admit we’ve lost quite a lot of them to the foxes, marters or birds of prey, but our set up is much better now and we feel its more important to have them walking around freely then to lock them up even though its safer for them.

COUCOU // Just a photo of us. During season. In the kitchen. Luckily we enjoy working and living so intensely together. We play so many different roles. Lovers, parents, business partners…It is not easy to be all of them. There is always just a certain amount of attention that can be distributed in every role. But so far, we’re doing quite well. Especially in low season where we really feel there is much more time together as a family. An immense realisation of freedom fell over us this year. No big building projects or pregnancies. Just us. And that feels really good.
