Figs are still coming on our beautiful fig tree.

Autumn Vibes is here, but the temperature is still warm. Such a great time to come and explore the Dordogne. You can enjoy our open fire in the evenings and walk out the door into the woodland countryside that leads down to Lalinde.

🍂 Drive, take Le Shuttle and stop in Paris for a night before arriving at La Ferme du Peytavit. 🚗
🍂 Take the ferry and do a road trip. ⛴️

Brilliantly flat, picturess cycle path starting in the village of Port de Couze. Only 5 minutes from La Ferme du Peytavit. Bike hire available. Routes to Bergerac and Monzac. Much of it following the canel and river. September and October are a great time to visit the Dordogne. 🚲 🍂

We were lucky enough to be able to watch the calm, collected organisation of the last night 🌙 market of the summer in Beaumont. This beautiful village puts on an amazing effort all summer. In France the beginning of autumn 🍂 is monumental. New starts, summer ending, and the count down to the festive season.
